At CCL Supplies we continually strive to work with our manufacturers to demonstrate our environmental commitment. The company’s objective is to identify areas where the environmental impact of operations can be reduced.

A large number of the manufacturers that CCL Supplies chooses to work with, particularly those involved in the manufacture of chemical products are industry pioneers in the development of products and processes that optimise performance while minimising the impact on the planet.

In addition CCL Supplies is keen to select paper manufacturers who are environmentally responsible. Many have achieved ambitious environmental goals, considering environmental matters at all levels of production to develop high-class products.

Great strides have been made in recent years in respect of the use of plastic bags in the disposal of waste. CCL Supplies has, in its extensive range of products, degradable black and white bin liners. All are manufactured from recycled products.

Continuing in our quest to aid recycling in the simplest form, CCL Supplies also stocks compostable liners for food waste caddies made from GM-free corn starch materials that conform to BS EN 13432. This liner is 100% biodegradable and fully compostable, breaking down harmlessly in a composting process and will disappear completely in 1-3 months.

Furthermore, the preferred manufacturer of laundry and dishwash tables guarantees them environmentally friendly. The dishwash detergent, produced in recyclable tubs, is the first manufactured in the UK to be awarded the European Ecolabel.

By working together, we can all make improvements in the areas of recycling, energy conservation and pollution prevention. Many of the products delivered by CCL Supplies are packed in cardboard boxes that the company has reused and can be further reused by the customer or easily recycled.
